Oh my, it's been a few days since I last posted, huh? So sorry. I am busy, busy lately.
I am thankful for... Getting to spend time at Tiff's last night. We were able to chit chat and watch an awesome movie. The kids and I also crashed there last night, which made for a fun morning. It was a nice break from the norm.
From the kitchen...the baby boy is cooing and laughing. Oh how I love him so.
I am Hoping...that I can start working 6 hours a day for 6 days, leaving Sundays free. I would like Sundays to be a family day for now on, where after church, lunch and nap time, we all as a family do something together....... walks around the neighborhood, playtime at the park, movies...heck maybe even pop some popcorn and watch football.
This Week's Verse........
Proverbs 3:3(New International Version)
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.

Godspeed (Sweet Dreams)
So, I thought I'd serenade you again.
I heard this song for the first time last night.
I sang it a few times while trying to get the baby boy to sleep.
Then I discovered there was an instrumental version of it on myspace karaoke.
I HAD to record myself singing it.
Ever since my miss was a baby, "You Are My Sunshine" has been her lullaby.
Now I have a lullaby for my boys.
Take a listen, won't you?

Vote For Me
So I have a chance of going to New York to be in a photo shoot for a tasteful calendar of the hottest, or actually, I think, most popular bloggers.
I'd get all dolled up and go to New York. NEW YORK!!!
Don't worry, Shirley, I have like hardly any votes, LOL.
But I do love New York and it would be fun, and hey, I do feel I am a hottie too, lol...not that THAT is important.
So, if you want to vote for me, so my current status of 10 votes doesn't look so sad...
Find my name here..and vote... I am listed as Butterfly Kisses
I am closer to the bottom, just so you know.

His Taggie Blankie
I escaped to Tiff's this evening and we had a sewing night.
I finally made a taggie blanket for the baby boy. His is a bit larger than typical taggie blankets, but it's okay, right?
So here is the cute, sleepy baby boy donning his blanket.
And, he likes it...............

My Joyful Journal #1
I found the Joyful Journal over at Danielle's.
She was inspired by The Simple Woman's Daybook.
I am thankful for...The Way of Agape Bible Study that started up at church. It is wonderful!!!
From the kitchen... I hear the sounds of the miss painting away. She is currently singing while she paints...her lyrics are: "painting forever today...today...today....forever...painting forever today"
I am Hoping...that we can finally start getting back to church again, beginning tomorrow. Since the baby boy was born, we haven't been attending frequently. And I can already see how our absence is effecting us.
Something New.....I listened to the soon to be released album by Ayiesha Woods, and it is WONDERFUL!
Wanna Listen?? (I especially like the songs, "Fight" and "New Beginnings")
I will be reviewing it soon over at 5 Minutes for Mom and giving a few copies away. So stay tuned.

Magic Marker Monday
This is a picture that the miss drew a couple of weeks ago. It has taken up residence on our fridge, because I love it.
It is a picture of her and her good friend, "Turbo", walking together under a rainbow.
She actually drew it for him.
So now that I have it scanned in, I will give the original up and allow it to go to its rightful owner.
Do you have some wonderful children's artwork that you would like to share?
Well then, grab your artist’s work off the refrigerator and join in. Or just hop over to 5 Minutes for Special Needs to check out the artwork and meet some inspiring little artists. (This carnival is open to all children’s artwork - not just children with Special Needs.)

ESFJ-The Provider
Providers, a subgroup of the Guardians, take it upon themselves to arrange for the health and welfare of those in their care, as well as being quite sociable. Wherever they go, Providers take up the role of social contributor, happily giving their time and energy to make sure that the needs of others are met, that traditions are supported and developed, and that social functions are a success. Providers are extremely sensitive to the feelings of others, which makes them perhaps the most sympathetic of all the types, but which also leaves them rather self-conscious, that is, highly sensitive to what others think of them. Because of this Providers can be crushed by personal criticism, and will work most effectively when given ample appreciation both for themselves personally and for the service they give to others. This is not to say that Providers are afraid to express their own emotional reactions. They are quick to like and dislike—and don’t mind saying so—tending to put on a pedestal whatever or whoever they admire, and to come down hard on those people and issues they don’t care for. You share your type with 10% of the population.
As a romantic partner, you work hard to nurture and protect your relationships. You go to great lengths to maintain harmony and are motivated to resolve conflicts. You have a very clear idea of what is important to you and do best when your partner shares those same values. You want your partner to be loving, committed, and willing to support your frequently overwhelming feelings and reactions. You feel most appreciated when your partner is kind, considerate, and helpful, and compliments you often on your hard work in their behalf.

Can You Guess Who This is???
Blog Surfing is Hard on the Emotions
So, I was blog surfing last night.....and a friend's blog led me to This Awesome blog. Don't go there yet...just wait a sec.
The blog is written by a dad...and throughout the read you see tons of posts with pictures of his days spent with his adorable baby girl, only a day younger than my baby boy.
This guy is awesome, an incredible dad. His posts are fun to read, and his baby girl is gorgeous.
But what makes the blog and this guy even more remarkable...well is because of the two most life changing events he posted about all within a day of each other.
So first, read THIS.
And then read THIS.
And they will open up in new windows so that you can come back here too.
Then you can read through his more recent posts.
You will cry...you may bawl....and then you will read through his blog with such a respect for him.

Photos Galore
And these are older, but I just received them, FINALLY.
(You can click on them to make them a bit larger)
These were taken back in May after the miss cut some of her bangs, which explains her funny bangs issue in these photos.
Also, I apologize for what my scanner did to these photos...I know they aren't very clear.

My Little Tomboy
The miss starts school next month. Since her birthday is in November, she misses the Kindergarten cut off. She will be starting Pre-K, which she will attend 3 days a week.
We need to get her a backpack, so I was looking at the Target site with her just now, to have her pick her favorite.
We looked at Barbie ones, Hello Kitty ones, solid colored ones, blue ones, purple ones...you get the idea.
Here is the one she wants...and she is THRILLED ABOUT....
My daughter will be the one who gets in trouble at school for bringing action figures, with guns and swords attached to them, to school. She likes to take her little Star Wars Miniature guys everywhere with her.
She is obsessed, I tell you.

Happy Birthday, Sara
Today I headed over to Tiff's to make chocolate covered strawberries for Sara's birthday. It was a lot of fun. The kids played nicely together so that we were able to chit chat and relax. I was even able to get some work done too.
The kids kept trying to steal the strawberries, but did listen well when we told them to get away.
Their patience paid off, and they were rewarded with the leftover strawberries and chocolate.
Tiff and I filled a platter with strawberries, topped it off with a candle and surprised Sara this evening.
And then we stole a few of the strawberries, because they were SO GOOD!

Yearbook Yourself
I saw this over at Adventures in Babywearing, and I had to give it a try too.......
Okay, I had way too much fun with this.
Me in 1964
And again, in 1966
Don't think I'd leave the hubby out of this. Here he is in 1966.
And again in 1970
Yours truly in 1978
And the hubby sporting quite the 'do in '82
And we finish it off in 1990
Do you want to try it out?
Head on over to Yearbook Yourself.
Let me know if you add any to your blog, so that I can come visit.

Father and Son
I received this in my email from Tiffany, and just HAD to post it here. What an incredible video. I must admit, I got a little teary eyed, but they were the good kind. The video is very uplifting.
First, some background information:
A son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?'. The father who, despite having a heart condition, says 'Yes'. They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went onto join other marathons, the father always saying 'Yes' to his son's request of going through the race together.
One day, the son asked his father, 'Dad, let's join the Ironman together.' To which his father said 'Yes' too. For those who don't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86kilometer)ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island. Father and son went on to complete the race together. Look at the sons face as they cross the finish line.

So Sorry
I am so sorry that I haven't written in a few days. I have been sick and with three little ones to contend with each day, I haven't been getting any better. In fact, every day I would wake up feeling worse than I had the day before.
Yesterday was by far the worst day. I didn't want to move, and so I sat on the recliner most of the morning, while my children had full run of the house.
I could hear the mister as he took a box of Triscuits, dumped them all over the family room and then proceeded to jump all over them. And, I just sat there, not hollering for him to stop, because it would hurt my throat. I actually didn't care, because it was keeping him busy, right?
Yes, yesterday was tough.
My good friend, Tiffany, called me though, and it's almost like she could sense that things weren't well, and she prayed for me. She prayed that my kids would be calm, mellow and would behave so that I could take it easy. And you know, after that, they were.
When I woke up this morning, I was feeling worse, and my wonderful friend, Sara, stole my two older kids, and I was able to take a 3 hour long nap. I feel MUCH better and I think that tomorrow will be a great day.
I can't believe that I have had this horrible cold, sore throat and neck pain for 5 days now. But, then again, I don't take care of myself like I should, so I guess that could be a big part of it.
Thankfully, I am on the mend....and maybe I can start getting better about blogging more often with posts that are actually fun to read. That is the plan, at least.

Random
So, I was tagged by Casual Friday Everyday to tell you seven random things about myself, so here goes.
1. Nobody, except for close friends and loved ones can guess my age correctly. This is most likely due to the fact that I look 19. I recently had a stranger tell me that I looked awfully young to be a wife and mother of 3. I asked them how old they thought I was, and they told me..."definitely no older than 19".
In fact, let's play a game....
If you aren't a close friend or loved one, take a shot at it. That picture to the left was taken last week.
Maybe if you guess correctly, there will be a prize.
But, NO CHEATING by reading old posts.
2. I have never cracked my knuckles, well, purposefully that is. I can't stand the sound of knuckles cracking and I refuse to ever willingly crack mine. If you are in the same room as I am and start cracking your knuckles, I will probably ask you to stop. Oh, that sound gives me the chills.
3. I met my husband during our senior year of high school on America Online. Yep, it's true.
Wanna see a picture of us from High School???
4. When I purchase a Wendy's Frosty, I put it in the freezer and then eat it the next day.... it's the only yummy way to eat a frosty!
5. I probably drink at least 4 cans of Pepsi a day. My poor body is longing for water, but I am not a big fan of water. When I am pregnant though, I am much better about my water consumption.
6. I say, "seriously" and "geez oh pete" about a bagillion times a day.
7. I always love when Jerry Maguire happens to be on T.V. It is a sentimental movie for the hubby and I, since it was the first movie we ever saw together..... (that is a hint for you, to help with number 1).
If you'd like to do this fun little meme, then consider yourself tagged.
